Fraser Langdon Commercial and Domestic Building Contractor Refurbishments, Maintenance and Building Work

Finding and selecting the right partner is the most important part of the process in any building or refurbishment works.

We believe the ‘right’ partner is a company you can rely on to fully understand the project and one which will complete the works on time, on budget and to your total approval. Once you’ve found the right company, the rest is plain sailing.
It’s a philosophy which has worked well for us as well as for our clients. Since we founded Fraser Langdon in 1996 we have many satisfied customers who are happy to recommend us. We’re very proud that clients return to us time and time again for their building and refurbishment requirements.

About The People at Fraser Langdon

Responsible and Responsive

Founded in 1996, Fraser Langdon has two directors, Waran Dellacassa and Duncan Smith. Waran joined the building world directly after graduation, while Duncan began through a bricklaying apprenticeship. Both have a wealth on knowledge about the construction, building and maintenance industry.

One or both directors oversee each project, taking full responsibility while also trusting and empowering staff to make on-site decisions.

Our directly employed trades professionals include plumbers, plasterers, carpenters, bricklayers, painters and decorators. These are supplemented, where required, with specialised sub contractors.

All managers and staff are trained in health and safety, manual handing and hold a current CSCS card (construction skills certification scheme). Each is qualified variously to NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3. Two directors/staff members have completed SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and, two others, the SSSTS (Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme).

All managers and operatives are DRB checked (formerly CRB) and attend regular safety awareness, working at heights, tower scaffold and UKATA (approved asbestos awareness training); several are also qualified for asbestos unlicensed works. Everyone is trained in abrasive wheels and ladder safety.

Our directors are trained to IOSH managing safety standards and H&S directors’ responsibilities; we have two staff qualified for first aid and a separate two for emergency first aid. We encourage all staff to identify and request training courses they would benefit from attending, in addition to formalised ongoing training and assessment.
Additionally, we keep up-to-date with the latest materials and techniques developed for the industry, including:

Repair Care International: trained in using special epoxy resins to create durable, permanent repairs Sovereign Tanking: trained in using synthetically modified cement to produce waterproof coatings. In addition to reviewing recent client testimonials we’ll be happy to put you in touch with other clients to hear their views on our service. Please get in touch to discuss your next project.
